The B.Com- Finance (Honours) is a 4 year programme with an exit option at 3rd year, designed to provide students with a wide range of managerial skills and to derive expertise in the specialised streams of Finance, Accounting, Taxation and Auditing. The B.Com (Finance) curriculum is mapped with ACCA professional certification and therefore students can simultaneously register for ACCA with subject exemptions. It also provides a foundation to undertake CA, CS, CFA, CPA and higher education degree in India and Abroad.

Course Curriculum

The B.Com Finance (Honours) programme at VSB is designed as per NEP guidelines of Ministry of Higher Education, Govt. of India. A student can pursue a 4 year B.Com Finance (Honours) degree programme spread across 8 semesters, or exit with a B.Com (Finance) degree at the end of 3 years.

VIT-AP School of Business has entered into an MOU with ISDC, UK for facilitating students to register for ACCA professional certification. Students registering for ACCA through VSB would be eligible for ACCA subject exemptions. ISDC provides the necessary training support with over 250 hours of coaching for ACCA courses, mock exams and study material support.

Additionally, the MoU with Master Minds CA Academy enables our B.Com (Finance) students to simultaneously pursue B.Com and CA qualification. The MoU enables us to get CA Integrated curriculum for our B.Com (Finance) program and provide our students the coaching and training support, so that they may appear for CA (Foundation and Inter) examinations during their studies at VSB.

GV Merit Scholarship:

Any board topper across the country will get 100% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree programme.

Tmt.Rajeswari Ammal Merit Scholarship:

Any district topper across the country will get 50% scholarship for all the years of the UG degree programmes. If the district topper is a girl, she will get an additional 25% scholarship (making it 75% scholarship).
